Click the cast icon from the sources drop down select cast desktop and choose your chromecast. Click that and choose extend. Click the three dots icon at the top right of the screen and click cast. Select the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of chrome and choose cast. This time however don t click the screen you want to cast to.

Click the dropdown arrow and select cast screen window experimental. Click on it to open the cast to box. Videostream extension is very simple to use. Now open chrome and click the google cast extension. On the upper right corner of the browser you will see the google chromecast icon.
